    GMHA's annual Adult Dressage and Eventing Clinic is offering a special one-day opportunity on June 5, 2026.  If you are a GMHA member and were not able to attend the clinic, you will have the chance to take a private dressage lesson on June 5, 2026 with one of the outstanding dressage clinicians GMHA will have on hand that week.  The day will be a great opportunity to gain experience on the GMHA grounds while having a private dressage lesson.

    Brief bios of the dressage clinicians:

    John Zopatti- USDF Gold Medalist

    - Winner of several USDF Regional Championships at the FEI levels

    - Four-time Trainer of the Year, Gold Coast Dressage Association

    - Specializes in coaching both dressage and eventing dressage riders

    ranging from Novice to Advanced levels.

    John's dedication to the sport of dressage, coupled with his impressive track record as a trainer and coach, highlights his significant impact on the equestrian community. His ability to nurture talent and foster a positive learning environment ensures that he remains a prominent figure in the world of dressage.


    Rebecca Vick- USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist; Graduate

    w/ distinction, USDF "L" Judge Program

    Rebecca has trained and competed many horses through FEI level dressage, with wins and placings at GAIG Finals, National Finals, Dressage at Devon, and

    NCDCTA Championships. Rebecca strongly believes that dressage can make any horse better and more athletic, and her solid training foundation has a major focus on throughness and using correct rider position to create a harmonious, happy horse and rider team. She enjoys teaching horses and riders of all levels.


    Diane Ritz - USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist

    Diane is the dressage trainer at Hidden Spring Equestrian in Monroe, NC where she has helped many riders and horses from the beginning of their careers to

    Grand Prix level.


    Adam Lastowka

    Adam is one of the trainers at Atlanta Dressage and a 5-star rated dressage trainer with an impressive background in multiple equestrian disciplines. As a teacher, his infectious personality brings humor to the riding arena while remaining serious enough to make sure his students reach their goals. He has shown numerous horses at the FEI level and continues to develop dressage prospects.

    Our judges:

    Krystal Wilt is a dressage rider, trainer, active competitor, and USEF r Dressage Judge based in Glenville, NY.  She has been riding horses since a very young age and is passionate about dressage education opportunities on all levels.  Krystal holds a B.S. in Biology and a Masters in Secondary Education and is a mother of two boys. 

    She is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist and is currently working towards her USEF R Dressage Judge License, as well as her gold medal.  She has also volunteered extensively for her local GMO, including serving on their board for over a decade. Krystal stays actively involved in the dressage community and especially enjoys working with horses and riders that are new to dressage, as well as unique breeds, as correct dressage basics will benefit every horse and rider!

    A successful show jumper in her native country Germany, Angela won the Gold Medal Riding Award in Jumping and Dressage, Silver medalist at the German YR Championships, won the Equitation over Fences with a 9.5.

    In the U.S. she has competed at the FEI level at international competitions including CDIs at Global Dressage, Wellington, FL, Festival of Champions at Gladstone, Dressage at Devon, and many regional championship titles. Angela has also competed at the USEF/Markel Young Horse Championships for the last 20+ years in every Division with 4-, 5-, and 6-year-olds, Developing PSG and Developing GP horses.

    Her students have won Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals at NAYC, multiple U.S. National JR/YR Champions, and represented the US in the European YR Tour.

    Angela works with all levels of riders and horses in a confidence building manner. Her positive approach helps to establish trust and harmony between horse and rider.
