GMHA Managed: One-day Adult Dressage Clinic

GMHA's annual Adult Dressage and Eventing Clinic is offering a special one-day opportunity on June 5, 2026.  If you are a GMHA member and were not able to attend the clinic, you will have the chance to take a private dressage lesson on June 5, 2026 with one of the outstanding dressage clinicians GMHA will have on hand that week.  The day will be a great opportunity to gain experience on the GMHA grounds while having a private dressage lesson.

Brief bios of the dressage clinicians:

John Zopatti- USDF Gold Medalist

- Winner of several USDF Regional Championships at the FEI levels

- Four-time Trainer of the Year, Gold Coast Dressage Association

- Specializes in coaching both dressage and eventing dressage riders

ranging from Novice to Advanced levels.

John's dedication to the sport of dressage, coupled with his impressive track record as a trainer and coach, highlights his significant impact on the equestrian community. His ability to nurture talent and foster a positive learning environment ensures that he remains a prominent figure in the world of dressage.


Rebecca Vick- USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist; Graduate

w/ distinction, USDF "L" Judge Program

Rebecca has trained and competed many horses through FEI level dressage, with wins and placings at GAIG Finals, National Finals, Dressage at Devon, and

NCDCTA Championships. Rebecca strongly believes that dressage can make any horse better and more athletic, and her solid training foundation has a major focus on throughness and using correct rider position to create a harmonious, happy horse and rider team. She enjoys teaching horses and riders of all levels.


Diane Ritz - USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist

Diane is the dressage trainer at Hidden Spring Equestrian in Monroe, NC where she has helped many riders and horses from the beginning of their careers to

Grand Prix level.


Adam Lastowka

Adam is one of the trainers at Atlanta Dressage and a 5-star rated dressage trainer with an impressive background in multiple equestrian disciplines. As a teacher, his infectious personality brings humor to the riding arena while remaining serious enough to make sure his students reach their goals. He has shown numerous horses at the FEI level and continues to develop dressage prospects.
